This naturally led to much speculation that he was openly cheating on Biel. A couple of weeks later, Timberlake took to social media to deny the accusations in a statement posted to Instagram. While itting that he had made “a strong lapse in judgment,” Timberlake stressed that “nothing happened between me and my co-star.”

Nevertheless, the star made clear that he knew he acted, well, out of hand. “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better,” Timberlake continued. “This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.”

Since then, there have been no fresh public allegations of infidelity on Timberlake’s part, and the married couple even attended a special red carpet event for Trolls: Band Together together back in November 2023. So for now, everything seems to be completely zen between the pair, although Spears’ revelations about her romantic time spent with Timberlake is leaving his reputation on the brink of taking a tumble.
