Fearless (Taylor’s Version) was the first of the recordings, released in April of 2021. Alongside old favorites like “Forever & Always (Taylor’s Version)” and “Love Story (Taylor’s Version),” Swift released tracks “from the vault” that she originally wrote for the album but didn’t end up releasing at the time. Vault tracks include “Mr. Perfectly Fine (from the Vault)” and “You All Over Me (from the Vault).”

Red (Taylor’s Version)

Red (Taylor’s Version) was arguably the biggest of the rereleases so far. Released in November of 2021, the album included the long-awaited 10-minute version of “All Too Well,” complete with a short film featuring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. On top of that, Swift released the vault track “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version),” with a music video featuring Miles Teller.

Midnights

Midnights is the most recent of Swift’s original albums. Released with Republic Records in October 2022, the release included three music videos and a “3 AM Version” on top of the thirteen original tracks. It also included features from Lana Del Ray and Ice Spice.

Off course, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is the newest addition to Taylor’s library. The albums she has yet to rerecord include 1989, Taylor Swift, and Reputation.

Though some fans feel that the recordings just aren’t the same, Swifties are very dedicated to streaming the “organically sourced” version of their favorite songs.
