Mere hours ago we brought you the Contagion. Now, we have the first official trailer.
It’s been a good week for film fans, with three huge trailers releasing. First up was The Dark Knight Rises and now we get our first official look at Contagion.
Opening September 9th, Contagion is a virus thriller that boasts an attractive cast, with names like Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Honestly, the trailer alone is absolutely horrifying. If you’re one of those people with a phobia of germs or sickness, I suggest steering clear of this one. From what we see here I’m already hooked. This looks like a gripping and intense film with some very strong performances.
Virus thriller films have always intrigued me, mainly because they feel very real. Stuff like this could easily happen and there’s nothing we can do about it. Virus outbreaks are scary and when portrayed in films, they often make for some legitimately terrifying material.
Like I said above, the trailer has me gripped and this film looks absolutely fantastic. Even the usually crummy Jude Law looks to be on the top of his game here!
