The new Netflix documentary Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal brings new light to the 2015 Ashley Madison leak, in which millions of names – including celebrity names – were exposed for scouting for extramarital affairs online. One name frequently cited was Jionni Lavalle, a reality TV star best known as the husband of iconic Jersey Shore cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. The scandal didn’t seem to rock the famous couple, so was there any truth to the allegations brought to the world’s attention by cyber-criminals?

What was the Ashley Madison scandal?

The Ashley Madison data breach, as it is commonly referred to, was a 2015 incident in which a cyber vigilante group known as “The Impact Team” leaked the data of s of Ashley Madison, a dating website for s looking to have extramarital affairs — a site that, until then, prided itself on its ability to be discreet. The leak publicly released over 2.5GB of data — including up to 30 million names — of s associated with the site, including those who had deleted their prior to the hack.

Celebrity names were also included in the leak, including Jionni LaValle, Hunter Biden (son of then-future U.S. President Joe Biden), and Josh Duggar — then known as one of the children on popular reality series 19 Kids and Counting. While Duggar eventually itted he was on the site and had indeed cheated on his wife (one of many controversies surrounding Duggar), fellow reality TV star LaValle, along with his wife Snooki, has always maintained his innocence.

Snooki and Jionni’s relationship timeline

Snooki’s first meeting with future husband Jionni was accidentally documented in 2010, during the filming of season 3 of Jersey Shore. The two had a seemingly meaningless one-night stand, where Snooki forgot his name and referred to him as “Bernard,” but by season 4, they has reconnected and were in a serious relationship. During the filming of the fourth season, which was set in Florence, Italy, the two broke up after a series of explosive arguments, as well as Snooki subsequently hooking up with her castmate, Vinny Guadagnino.

However, the pair were able to patch things up and put their feud behind them, and by season 6, the two were expecting a baby. The two married in 2014, and LaValle has appeared in the spin-off Snooki & JWoww. Jionni does not appear, but is referenced in the revival series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, as he has taken a step back from TV appearances due to backlash in the press, which was certainly not helped by the Ashley Madison accusations.

So, was Jionni LaValle really on Ashley Madison?

Since 2015, both Snooki and Jionni have consistently denied that LaValle ever had an on Ashley Madison. Speaking on her Naturally Nicole podcast at the time of the allegations, as documented by In Touch Weekly, Snooki said that “I’m lucky if he knows how to even use a computer, yet go on Ashley Madison to cheat on me.”

Instead, Snooki implied it was the work of a catfish, using her husband’s identity to scam s of the website. “It’s so stupid, and we honestly think, like, someone is trying to f**k with us because this isn’t the first story that Jionni’s been cheating on me. But all these stories never have evidence. There’s never a photo, there’s never text messages, there’s nothing.”

Polizzi pointed to one specific flaw in the allegations — that LaValle would allow a digital and banking footprint to trace him to solid proof that he had cheated (or intended to cheat) on his wife.

“If he wanted to cheat on me, he would go to a club and cheat on me, or go out and cheat on me. He wouldn’t go on Ashley Madison to pay money to cheat on me. Like, he’s not an ugly guy. He’s beautiful, do you know what I mean?”

Snooki and Jionni once again denied the cheating rumor in 2024, when reached for a comment by the producers of the new documentary, as shown in a statement at the end of episode two.

The couple are still married to this day, and now share three children together. Whether or not the allegations were true, it does not seem to have affected their marriage too much — if anything, the success of their relationship seems to disprove them. If Jionni did actually have an with Ashley Madison, which seems less likely in light of Snooki’s comments on the matter, this is being kept as a strictly private matter between the two.

when Snooki and Jionni were the hottest couple on the Jersey Shore? But now, it seems like Snooki and Jionni could be heading for Splitsville!

Nicole Snooki Polizzi and Jionni LaValle first met back in 2010. LaValle came into the public eye through his relationship with Snooki. He appeared on Jersey Shore during its third season, which aired in 2011, and their relationship developed from there. The couple got married in November 2014, in a ceremony that was reportedly Great Gatsby-themed.

Snooki and Jionni have three children together. Their first child, Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, was born in August 2012. They welcomed their second child, Giovanna Marie LaValle, in September 2014, and their third child, Angelo James LaValle, in May 2019. Sounds like a happily ever after, right? Well, not so fast.

The ups and downs

As any reality TV fan knows, the course of true love never did run smoothly. Lately, though, it seems the only thing they’re sharing is zip codes — when they’re even in the same one. Sources close to the couple spill that they’re more often in separate houses than not. And when they do see each other, it’s not exactly a love fest. Name-calling, tears… it’s like a season finale every other night and not the fun kind. Yikes! (via US Sun)

This comes in the wake of Netflix’s latest docies, Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal, a tell-all exposé of the 2015 data breach that shook the world by revealing the names of thousands involved in the infamous infidelity website.

Ashley Madison was known for its slogan “Life is short. Have an affair.” It provided a discreet platform for individuals seeking to engage in extramarital relationships. Despite its controversial nature, the site accumulated a large base worldwide. Among the names? None other than Jionni LaValle.

Let’s just say Snooki wasn’t too thrilled about it. She denied the allegations at the time stating:

My husband didn’t sign up on that website to cheat on me. Honestly, if he wanted to cheat — he would go out and do it. Not sign up on a website and pay for it.

Nicole Snooki on Instagram

Now with all these marital woes coming to light, we can’t help but wonder if there was some truth to those cheating rumors after all. Of course, we don’t know for sure what’s really going on behind closed doors with Snooki and Jionni.

What’s next for Snooki and Jionni?

So, are Snooki and Jionni headed for a divorce? It’s hard to say with certainty, but all signs seem to point in that direction. The couple has built quite the empire together, with multiple houses, businesses, and endorsement deals. Splitting all of that up is going to be a nightmare, and you know the lawyers are going to have a field day with it.

The world was obsessed with Jersey Shore when it premiered on MTV in 2009. The show was filled with hilarious drama between the cast and all the fights, fake tans, and fallouts a fan could wish for. Jersey Shore is considered an iconic reality TV show that will forever be ed as the blueprint for modern reality TV craziness.

The show’s cast have been doing well financially since Jersey Shore ended in 2012, and even more so, thanks to the ongoing spin-off Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which premiered in 2018. On top of TV, sponsored social media posts, brand deals, merchandise, and even a few fashion and beauty lines have given the cast enough G.T.L. (gym, tan, and laundry) money to last a lifetime.

For those curious, here’s where everyone’s net worth stands today after reality TV fame, spin-offs, and various business ventures.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino – $2 million

At the height of his Jersey Shore career, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was pulling in $150,000 per episode. After Jersey Shore ended, he appeared on Dancing With the Stars and Celebrity Big Brother UK, adding to his reality TV show résumé. Sorrentino even penned several books and launched a multitude of side businesses to continue expanding his wealth.

His net worth was reportedly somewhere around $10 million before he got in legal trouble with his taxes, owing $8.9 million to the U.S. government after he was found guilty of tax evasion in 2018. Sorrentino ended up serving eight months in prison, and while his net worth originally sat at around $300,000, Sorrentino has a current net worth of $2 million, which is still an impressive pay packet for anyone.

Deena Cortese – $2 million

Deena Cortese currently has a net worth of $2 million. While a late addition to the Jersey Shore cast, coming in as a replacement for Angelina in season 3, Deena quickly fit in with everyone in the house upon her arrival. A long-time friend of Snooki’s, the pair called themselves “meatballs” – a nickname for short, curvy, “spicy” Italian ladies.

Deena has also appeared on other MTV shows, such as Couples Therapy, When I Was 17, and Silent Library, as well as other shows like Celebrity Fear Factor. On social media, the 37-year-old has racked up just shy of 4 million followers.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro – $3 million

Along with starring on Jersey Shore, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has appeared in a multitude of other reality TV shows over the last few years, such as Impact Wrestling and Fear Factor. Initially, Ronnie got paid $80,000 per episode for Jersey Shore, but that figure increased to $150,000 after he played a part in increasing the show’s drama with the ever-looming possibility of fights and scandals.

In 2017, Ortiz-Magro purchased a Las Vegas property for $725,000. Unfortunately, many domestic disputes took place at the house and the police were called to the scene multiple times. In 2020, he announced that he was selling his home for $870,000. Still, the star has racked up a net worth of approximately $3 million – but may be lower in more recent years due to some likely pricey legal fees and time away from Family Vacation after his 2021 arrest. Ronnie has not returned as a full-time cast member since his departure.

Angelina Pivarnick – $4 million

In Season 1 of Jersey Shore, Angelina Pivarnick reportedly made $3,000 per episode, but in Season 2, her earnings increased to $15,000 per episode, thanks to the early success of the reality series. That gravy train soon came to a halt, as Angelina declined to return for a third season, as her feuds with every one of her co-stars reached an unbearable point – made clear by her constant fights in virtually every episode. She did, however, return for Family Vacation, on better with her castmates.

Angelina Pivarnick has a net worth of $4 million today, so her departure from Jersey Shore in its prime certainly hasn’t held her back. As well as working for the emergency services as a medical technician for ambulances as well as the NY Fire Department, she has appeared on other reality shows, such as the dating series Excused and Couples’ Therapy. Pivarnick has also released songs under the name “Miss AP”, and has her a signature line of false lashes, named Lashelina.

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola – $4 million

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola was an extremely internal part of the original Jersey Shore cast, but she chose not to return for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation until 2023, with her relationship with then-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro being one of the show’s most consistent ongoing storylines. Understandably, Giancola wanted to distance herself from revisiting her past relationship on national television.

Since then, Giancola has modeled in several magazines including People and Harper’s Bazaar. She also launched her own clothing line in 2013 under the name Sweetheart Styles, offering merchandise of the iconic letter sent to her about Ronnie by Snooki and JWoww in season 2.

Giancola also linked up with SXE Fitness to release a trendy line of fitness apparel. Giancola’s business-savvy ethics don’t stop there, though — she even launched a fragrance called Dangerous around that same time. With an alleged net worth of $4 million, Giancola has proven she can sustain herself outside of the Jersey Shore universe.

Jenni “JWoww” Farley – $4 million

Jenni “JWoww” Farley currently has a net worth of $4 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Before becoming a bona fide reality TV star, Farley had her own graphic design business, proving that she already knew the importance of creating wealth and success for herself. At the age of 23, she ed the cast of Jersey Shore, making her mark as the no-nonsense friend that no one dared to mess with.

Fans of the raunchy reality TV show absolutely adore JWoww. Some of the other reality TV shows she’s starred in include Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, TNA Impact!, and Disaster Date. She launched her own clothing line called Filthy Couture and started promoting a line of sun tanning products in conjunction with the Australian Gold Company.

Back in 2013, Farley landed on GQ Magazine‘s “Sexiest 100 Ladies of the 21st Century” list. Her spinoff show with Polizzi, Snooki & JWoww, premiered in 2012.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi – $4 million

The first Halloween celebration after Season 1 of Jersey Shore led to countless Snooki costume sales, and it was clear that a reality TV star was born. Snooki’s signature hairstyle, wild behavior, and catchphrases made Polizzi a goldmine when it came to merchandising the show.

Quickly, Snooki capitalized on the trend, releasing multiple books and merchandise collaborations, such as the “Free Snooki” shirt worn by cast on the show, as well as earning money from public appearances. Snooki is still selling her merch today on The Snooki Shop, and her website even offers merchandise of her iconic 2011 arrest. All of this totals a $4 million net worth for Polizzi, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Vinny Guadagnino – $5 million

Vinny Guadagnino was only 21 years old when he was cast on Jersey Shore, and he ended up being part of all six seasons of the show. From 2009 until 2012, the world became very familiar with his face, sense of humor, and overall personality – and he was handsomely rewarded for it.

After the original Jersey Shore wrapped, Guadagnino started taking acting lessons to pursue a career in Hollywood, and earned some acting credits in TV and film. Most recently, the reality TV shows he’s participated in include The Masked Dancer and The Masked Singer. In 2017, he purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills for $3.5 million. Guadagnino also has a side hustle with his podcast, called Something Went Wrong, where he interviews celebrity guests.

The reality star has proven himself to be a jack of all trades when it comes to building a sustainable career, helping him earn an impressive net worth of $5 million, according to reports.

Paul D. DelVecchio Jr., aka DJ Pauly D – $20 million

The wealthiest individual to come from Jersey Shore is DJ Pauly D, with an alleged net worth of $20 million. Delvecchio was a DJ before his TV debut, but he has worked very steadily in recent years as a major DJ in the Las Vegas area, performing at exclusive shows in various casinos and resorts along the Las Vegas strip – all helping him to rake in an impressive take-home pay via ticket sales and personal merchandise. In addition to being a reality TV star and beloved DJ, Pauly D is also the social media ambassador for the WWE SummerSlam, an annual pay-per-view wrestling event.

These days, DJ Pauly D has a huge social media presence, with over four million Twitter followers and over four million Instagram followers. He also signed on to star in a Jersey Shore spinoff called Double Shot at Love with Guadagnino.

The original Jersey Shore, whether you loved or hated the show during its original air date of 2009 to 2012, was nothing short of a cultural phenomenon. The cast’s signature looks embodied the gaudy Y2K fashion aesthetics and personal grooming, even creating some trends of their own, like Snooki’s iconic “poof” hairstyle. The series was subject to countless parodies and controversies, especially over the cast’s antics that turned them into stars, and in some cases, role models for millennials coming of age.

What is surprising, with that in mind, is the fact the reality show had a very brief run. The first episode premiered on December 3rd, 2009, and season six concluded the show on December 20th, 2012, meaning that the series only just squeaked past three years on the airwaves. TV shows typically get canceled due to lack of popularity, so what could have happened to take down the series in what appeared to be its prime?

Why was the original Jersey Shore canceled?

Screengrab via YouTube

In August 2012, a few months ahead of the season six premiere that October, MTV announced that the season would be Jersey Shore’s last. At the time, Chris Linn, the network’s Executive Vice President of Programming, told Entertainment Weekly that the decision arose from feeling “like the right time to bring it to a close and end on a high note.”

“We’ve always said we’d do the show for as long as it made sense,” Linn explained. “We noticed what was going on in their lives, with Nicole (Snooki) having her baby, the relationships, etc.”

Snooki gave birth to her first child in August of that year, and the responsibilities of parenthood would have certainly changed up the dynamic of the party house significantly. However, that may not be the whole picture. A sequel series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, has been ongoing since 2018, and most of the cast now have children of their own. While the cast may not party quite as hard as they used to, the series hasn’t been short of drama, especially with the re-introduction of Sammi Giancola earlier this year.

It is possible that ratings did play a role in the decision to end the series. Viewership peaked in 2011, during season 3, episode 4, in “Free Snooki” — the episode following Snooki’s surprise arrest. By the end of season 5, however, ratings dwindled to 4-5 million per episode, meaning viewership had cut in half in a year.

The production budget for a season of Jersey Shore was said to be at least $3 million by 2011, with a hefty nearly $420,000 rebate from the New Jersey taxpayer, which many residents weren’t exactly happy about, given the show’s representation of the area. It seems that value for money rapidly decreased per episode, and New Jersey natives were reluctant to keep forking out for it.

Linn denied that ratings played a role in the decision to end Jersey Shore. “The show still dominates, it’s the No. 1 show in our core demo[graphic],” he told EW. “It’s still incredibly successful.”

“As successful as the show is, we don’t want to be in a situation where we’re milking every ratings point out of a franchise until the end,” he concluded.

Before the last season of Jersey Shore, the series had spawned multiple spin-offs, the most successful being Snooki and Jwoww. It is clear that MTV was keen to keep at least some of the Jersey Shore format alive, even if in smaller spin-offs that were somewhat less focused on partying and “smushing”. Other cast , like Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, had turned away from this lifestyle, after attending rehab for substance abuse in early 2012. During season 4 of the show the previous year, Sorrentino shocked viewers when he headbutted a wall out of anger, ending up in a neck brace, something he later itted was due to suffering from drug withdrawals.

The original Jersey Shore had seemingly outgrown what it was originally meant to be, both in maturity and budgetary means. The series could not recapture the magic of the first few seasons, especially without causing risks to the well-being of the cast. As this became more apparent, viewers began to slowly switch off, and the network could not financially justify continuing to make the stakes higher, such as taking the cast to new locations, like Italy in season 4.

While Jersey Shore lives on in Family Vacation, the series’ format is adjusted to the now older, family-based cast . The sequel series has not quite captured the same international attention as the original, but this steadiness has ensured that the series’ quality cannot fall from such a great height.

The reality TV series Jersey Shore was one of the biggest cultural phenomena of the early 2000s. The widely popular MTV show follows a group of young Italian-American adults from New Jersey living together in a vacation home – as the group navigates work, partying, relationships, and generally attempting to get along as a household.

What may surprise those who Jersey Shore — however — is that the original series was pretty short-lived. First airing in December 2009 and ending its run in December 2012, the series barely existed for three years. Its spin-off, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, premiered in 2018 and has so far amassed six full seasons.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation features the main cast of the original series, many of whom are now married and have children of their own. Some things, however, never change – the gang are all living under one roof again, this time on vacation in Miami Beach and a number of other popular locales.

Where is ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ available to watch?

The seventh season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation began on August 3rd, 2023. The season aired new episodes on a once-a-week basis. On network television, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is available on Thursdays on the MTV channel at 8 p.m. ET. Viewers that have MTV Play can live stream each episode on the site.

For streaming, it’s a little more complicated. No platform has the entire series of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation available to stream. Paramount+ currently has the first five seasons, while several live TV streamers claim to have the series available through watching MTV. These streaming services all seem to have a DVR availability as well for fans to keep a temporary “collection” of episodes. Also, some services — such as Prime Video, or Apple TV — allow fans to rent every episode of the popular MTV series.

Jersey Shore was not just one of the most popular and successful reality TV shows of its era — airing from 2009 to 2012 in its original run — but a cultural phenomenon in itself. The series chronicles a group of young, self-styled “Guidos/Guidettes” living under one roof, attempting to balance their love of partying and hooking up with their job working at a beach-front store in the middle of the Jersey Shore tourist district.

Jersey Shore made stars of its cast , bringing the lifestyle and look of guido/guidette culture to international attention. Snooki’s signature beehive hair tools began flying off the shelves, and the behavior of the cast was the subject of numerous academic studies. While perhaps not the first reality series to turn its cast into household names, the series helped shape a new benchmark for what a reality show could look like.

Its unscripted structure, with no host or third party to intervene in the countless fights or hook-ups between the cast, kept the series unpredictable – and more importantly – kept viewers gripped. For a time, it seemed that every subsequent reality show wanted to re-capture the raw magic of Jersey Shore, from its countless (often international) spin-offs, to shows like Buckwild, Summer House, and even some extent, The Real Housewives franchise. Compared to the slickness of more contemporary reality shows like Love Island, where every cast member seems to be angling for a post-show brand deal, Jersey Shore was reality TV at its most unfiltered.

How the casting process for ‘Jersey Shore’ worked

Main cast of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation'

According to Vulture’s “The Oral History of Jersey Shore,” the iconic reality series was initially conceived as a competition-based series — a highly popular genre in the early 2000s, thanks to shows like Survivor. VH1, the original network that had the rights to Jersey Shore, dreamed up a concept of “the juiciest gym rats and tannest fist-pumpers the tri-state area (and beyond) had to offer,” made up of an all-male cast. According to casting director Dan Ofir, the series would’ve likely been titled “America’s Biggest Guido,” or something along those lines.

Later, the show expanded to include female cast , eventually dropping the competition structure. After realizing how unique the party scene on the Jersey Shore was, and that it conveyed Guido culture better than the competition, the series switched to a more fly-on-the-wall style of filming. “Look, it was like zebras in the Serengeti. We wanted to see this in action,” Ofir recalled.

The series kept on much of its original cast that were scouted during the competition phase, including Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, who shot the pilot episode that was never aired. Similarly, production retained Pauly DelVecchio, better known as Pauly D, as he had a $10,000 tanning booth inside his own home. If that alone doesn’t show what kind of guy he is, then what will?

Other cast were spotted after casting producers took a step inside the world of the Jersey Shore, scouting in locations where the most stereotypically macho Italian-American men would hang out. Ronnie Oritz Magro recalled being approached in a nightclub, stating “I was out one night, doing whatever I do — I guess being a creep, if you wanna say — and a lady approached me. She was like, ‘Listen, you fit the criteria of somebody that we’re casting for a show. Would you like to try out?'”

Nicole Polizzi, best known as “Snooki,” signed up for the show after becoming interested in her own . “I saw an audition posting on Facebook for a show called Guidos and Guidettes. I went there drunk, because it was at a bar, and the rest is history,” Polizzi recalled.

Jenni Farley, aka “JWoww”, was working at a nightclub where casting directors went scouting —something that she recalled was a common occurrence at her former workplace for various reality shows. Farley tried out for the VH1 reality series Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, but failed to get cast. Later, the VH1 network called her and asked if she would be interested in the “Number One Guido” show they were developing, before retaining the future reality star when its core concept changed.

As the series developed the idea of its cast living under one roof, casting agents looked for auditionees who would shake things up in the household. “One of the [interviewers] was like, ‘What would you do if you were living in a house with four hot, tan guidos?’ And I’m like, ‘I’d put whipped cream all over their bodies and lick it off.’ The camera guy was dying,” Angelina Pivarnick recalled.

In short, shy, timid personalities needed not apply. Casting agents looked for the biggest Guidos and Guidettes they could find — in personality, hair, and muscles. Upon Jersey Shore’s adoption onto the MTV network, some cast were dropped in favor of having a younger cast. In short, Jersey Shore’s early production saw its casting crew adopt the persona of mad scientists, obtaining ingredients of the highest power and mixing them together for an explosive chemical reaction.

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola’s return to the Jersey Shore franchise took many viewers aback, and even Sammi herself was surprised by how she felt from the experience.

Giancola initially opted out of appearing in the revival series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, but made an unexpected appearance in the season 6B premiere, walking into the cast’s shared Miami beach house with the line, “Hey guys, sorry I’m late.”

Giancola dated her Jersey Shore co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro until 2014, two years after the original show went off air, which likely played a role in her decision to decline Family Vacation. Re-ing the franchise probably felt like a time warp for the 36-year-old, as she opened up to People about the “midlife crisis” she felt upon her recent return.

The majority of her former castmates have children of their own, with the original cast having 11 kids between them. Her ex-boyfriend Ronnie also has a child of his own. When asked by Pauly D about the prospect of having kids, Giancola responded that she “would love kids,” drawing attention to the fact she is “getting older.” Most OG fans of Jersey Shore will also be feeling pretty old after learning that fact, too.

Sammi also joked that she is “hitting my midlife crisis,” and her return to television will be the start of a new journey for her. “Even though these people are the same, a lot is also different with them,” Giancola stated. “And I’m so intrigued to like, get to know their families now and other sides of them that I never got to before,” she ethused.

Did Joy Behar refuse to film ‘The View’ with ‘Jersey Shore’ star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi? https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/news/did-joy-behar-refuse-to-film-the-view-with-jersey-shore-star-nicole-snooki-polizzi/ Fri, 11 Aug 2023 18:02:14 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/?p=1559404 Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi's makeup artist claimed Joy Behar hid from the 'Jersey Shore' cast when they appeared on 'The View.']]>

Joy Behar was notably absent on The View during the show’s Aug. 1 interview with the cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, prompting fans to wonder whether it was due to her past feud with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. Polizzi’s makeup artist Joey Camasta added fuel to the fire when he claimed to Page Six that Behar refused to film with Polizzi and “hid” during the cast’s segment on the talk show.

However, a source close to production on The View told Page Six on Aug. 11 that Camasta’s claims are false and there is “no truth” to his comments. “It was a production decision to have three of the five co-hosts in the segment to make space for their seven cast so everyone gets a chance to talk,” an insider told the publication. Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Sara Haines were the three hosts for the segment with the Jersey Shore cast.

The denial came after Camasta, Polizzi’s makeup artist and It’s Happening podcast co-host, told the publication on Aug. 9 that Behar “chose not to be in the segment and was hiding the whole time.” He claimed that because of tense exchanges between the two women in the past and some of the public comments they’ve made about each other, Behar decided to “stay away… She didn’t want to be involved in that segment, apparently.”

Polizzi recently called out Behar when she told Andy Cohen in an Aug. 3 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” that The View host was the “rudest” celebrity she’d encountered. Polizzi said Behar was “so mean” and claimed, “She cornered me in the bathroom and said, ‘You’re not Italian!’” As for Behar, she shaded the Jersey Shore cast back in 2010 when she said on The View, “They can park my car any time they want,” and later called them “stupid.”

Soon after Behar made those comments, Polizzi and her co-star and bestie Jenni “JWoww” Farley trolled Behar in an eight-minute video in 2011. In the clip, which is available via TMZ, she imitated Behar and said, “You know why I don’t like them? Because these people ruined my life in high school and that’s why I have to talk [stuff] about them on my little talk show… But deep inside, I’m [very] obsessed with Snooki.” Polizzi ended up apologizing to Behar for the video on the Wendy Williams Show. Behar accepted the apology and called the sketch “very funny,” NY Daily News reported at the time.

What happened to Ronnie from ‘Jersey Shore?’ https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/tv/what-happened-to-ronnie-from-jersey-shore/ https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/tv/what-happened-to-ronnie-from-jersey-shore/#respond Sat, 05 Aug 2023 06:41:05 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/?p=1553697 Where did Ronnie go?]]>

More than two years after announcing his departure, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has officially returned to Jersey Shore: Family VacationFans probably weren’t surprised to see him in the teaser trailer for the second half of season 6 telling co-star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino that he’s ready to re the cast full-time. However, it doesn’t seem like all of the reality star’s roommates will welcome him back with open arms.

When Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premiered in 2018, he had just welcomed a daughter with then-girlfriend Jen Harley. Their relationship grew toxic, and a physical altercation occurred while the cast filmed season 2 in Las Vegas. According to Us Weekly, Harley showed up uninvited to the hotel and shoved Ortiz-Margo during an argument.

Not long after the incident, he entered a rehab program for depression and alcohol abuse. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. In October 2019, the couple got into another altercation involving their daughter, leading to Ortiz-Margo’s arrest.

TMZ reported that Harley accused him of hitting and chasing her with a knife during a cocaine-fueled rage. This resulted in various charges, and an order of protection that prevented him from seeing his daughter for nearly eight months.

Things began to look up for the MTV star when he took his relationship with Saffire Matos public in 2020. However, a second arrest for domestic violence in April 2021 left fans shocked. TMZ shared that Matos called the police, who noticed physical marks on her body before making the arrest.

Why is Ronnie not on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation?

The following month, Ortiz-Margo announced that he’d be taking time away from filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation to seek medical attention and address his mental health. However, a source told The Sun that he actually got the boot because the cast no longer felt comfortable filming with him, calling him a “ticking time bomb.”

Despite his arrest for domestic abuse, Matos chose to stick by the MTV alum, and the two were engaged in June. During his time away from the show, he handled his legal issues and planned an engagement party with his fiance. The two appeared together on last season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, during which the roommates met Matos for the first time. Off-camera, the cast kept their distance and didn’t publicly congratulate the couple. Ortiz-Margo and Matos split for good in July 2022.

In a later episode, he appeared with Sorrentino and shared that he was sober, but kept details regarding his legal troubles vague. With Ortiz-Margo returning to the cast this season, Sorrentino shared how he stepped up to his friend during filming with Page Six.

“For many years, Ronnie was concentrating on his mental health. And I think that is a very sensitive topic, and not everyone knows how to deal with that topic. My specialty is dealing with addiction, dealing with mental health, dealing with making mistakes in your life, and trying to mount a comeback. So I definitely tried to take the lead during that particular moment for everyone, just to make sure that we’re all in a good spot.”

Even though Sorrentino has his back, Ortiz-Margo may have difficulty getting the rest of his roommates to forgive him.

‘He didn’t wanna be by us’: ‘Jersey Shore’ stars claim Ryan Reynolds was ‘rudest celebrity’ they met https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/news/he-didnt-wanna-be-by-us-jersey-shore-stars-claim-ryan-reynolds-was-rudest-celebrity-they-met/ https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/news/he-didnt-wanna-be-by-us-jersey-shore-stars-claim-ryan-reynolds-was-rudest-celebrity-they-met/#respond Fri, 04 Aug 2023 20:04:08 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/?p=1553452 The stars seem more than willing to start fresh, though, in case Mr. Reynolds would like to make amends!]]>

Ryan Reynolds may be one of the most beloved actors on the planet, but some of the Jersey Shore women didn’t have the most pleasant experience when they met the Deadpool star.

The cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was asked about the rudest celebrity encounter they’ve had during their Aug. 3 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Deena Cortese singled out Reynolds.

The two women were hesitant to share their pick at first, as Giancola explained, “Me and Deena encountered a rude celebrity once, but we don’t want to say who it is. No, we don’t wanna say.” Cortese chimed in, “I love him. I truly love him. I love his wife.”

After some prompting, she itted, “Ryan Reynolds was not great to us. I love Ryan Reynolds. I truly love Ryan Reynolds still and I love Blake Lively. He didn’t wanna be by us.” Giancola suggested that “Maybe he had a bad day” when they met him and the cast agreed that they’d love to meet him again.

During the same segment, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed that she had her own rude encounter with a different celebrity. The longtime reality star told Cohen that she ran into The View co-host Joy Behar and she was “so mean.” Polizzi claimed, “She cornered me in the bathroom and said, ‘You’re not Italian!'”

Cohen asked her what her response was at the time and Polizzi replied, “I said, ‘OK, ma’am.'” Unlike her co-stars Giancola and Cortese, Polizzi didn’t appear to have any qualms identifying Behar as a “rude” celebrity. Neither Behar nor Reynolds have responded to the Jersey Shore cast ’ claims.

The cast’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen came after the premiere of the new season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The premiere episode on Aug. 3 saw exes Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro back on the show together for the first time in over 10 years, although they have yet to appear together. During the episode, Ortiz-Magro itted that his castmates were icing him out while Giancola aired out her concerns with Angelina Pivarnick about returning to the group following her feud with the other women.

Giancola was an original member of Jersey Shore when it aired between 2009 and 2012, but when the reboot was announced in 2018, she decided not to appear to “avoid potentially toxic situations,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

‘Maybe in a couple years she’ll trade him out’: Vinny Guadagnino shades ‘Jersey Shore’ co-star’s relationship https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/news/maybe-in-a-couple-years-shell-trade-him-out-vinny-guadagnino-shades-jersey-shore-co-stars-relationship/ https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/news/maybe-in-a-couple-years-shell-trade-him-out-vinny-guadagnino-shades-jersey-shore-co-stars-relationship/#respond Thu, 03 Aug 2023 20:48:18 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/?p=1552591 Vinny Guadagnino fired a jab at the number of fiancés Angelina Pivarnick has had.]]>

Vinny Guadagnino didn’t hold back when asked about his co-star Angelina Pivarnick‘s engagement to Vinny Tortorella, which took place in November 2022 in front of the Jersey Shore cast during filming.

“Just one of Angelina’s fiancés, you know">

Guadagnino and Pivarnick spoke about their connection at the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6 reunion, which aired in May 2023. Pivarnick explained that she felt as though Guadagnino was “just so different” without the rest of his co-stars. Pivarnick claimed that Guadagnino would act completely differently and be very kind to her when they were alone compared to when they were with their co-stars. During times with the whole group, Pivarnick shared that she felt as though he acted like he didn’t really like her.

Guadagnino said it was normal to act differently in a one-on-one setting compared to a group setting and retorted that he felt Pivarnick was different as well. At another point in the reunion, Guadagnino made another jab about the number of times Pivarnick’s been engaged, joking that it was “definitely shocking” every time his co-star got engaged, then added, “She’s had more engagement parties than I’ve had birthdays.”

‘I’m kind of hesitant’: ‘Jersey Shore’ star Angelina Pivarnick shares worries after Vinny Tortorella’s proposal https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/news/im-kind-of-hesitant-jersey-shore-star-angelina-pivarnick-shares-worries-after-vinny-tortorellas-proposal/ Thu, 03 Aug 2023 19:43:28 +0000 https://wegotthiscovered.moviesx.org/?p=1552478 Angelina Pivarnick accepted Vinny Tortorella's proposal, but she isn't rushing to get married again.]]>

Angelina Pivarnick is returning to our screens on Aug. 2. with the premiere of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation‘s new season, and the reality star spilled on the latest in her wedding plans after viewers saw the proposal take place on-screen.

Pivarnick itted to being “hesitant” about planning her wedding as she dove right into her previous marriage, which turned sour soon after the big day. “No wedding planning update,” Pivarnick revealed to HollywoodLife regarding her engagement to Vinny Tortorella. “I’m taking my time just feeling everything out. I was married prior, so I’m kind of hesitant. That’s where I’m at right now. I’m taking my time.”

Pivarnick and Tortorella met on Instagram and began a whirlwind romance that culminated in a proposal captured by Jersey Shore cameras that shocked her co-stars in an April 2023 episode of the show. Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio joked to the group that they’d just met Tortorella the day before and now the couple was getting married. As for Jenni “JWoww” Farley, she itted in a confessional that she was “speechless” and had no idea the couple was that serious.

Pivarnick also itted to being surprised at the speed of the proposal and shared in a confessional, “If you would have told me that I would have my divorce party last night and now I’m engaged officially, I would tell you right now you’re full of dog [poop]. But here I am, engaged, and I’m getting married again.”

Pivarnick’s relationship with Tortorella came on the heels of her divorce from Chris Larangeira, who she married in November 2019. The former couple experienced issues pretty early on in their marriage, however, and Larangeira filed for divorce in early 2022. After news of Pivarnick’s engagement broke, Larangeira wrote on his Instagram Story (courtesy of MTV Reality Tea’s Instagram) that he was “very happy” for his ex-wife and that Tortorella seemed like “a great guy.”

While Pivarnick has been married once before, she’s been engaged a staggering five times, including her current engagement. Her co-star Vinny Guadagnino quipped that Pivarnick’s fiancé was “just one of Angelina’s fiancés,” in an interview with Page Six ahead of the Aug. 3 premiere. “They pop up every once in a while, so this was this one,” he added. Pivarnick was engaged to David Kovacs in 2011, Anthony Lamberti from 2013 to 2014, Louie Gero from 2016 to 2017, and her ex-husband, Chris Larangeira.
