A man from Florida named Joseph Manzaro has sued Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming he was involved in human trafficking and other serious crimes after an incident at a party in April 2015.

Manzaro says he was drugged and taken to a party for Diddy’s son’s 17th birthday on Star Island in Miami. He describes the party as a “freak off,” where he claims he was sexually assaulted, humiliated, and made to wear a penis mask. TMZ reported Manzaro’s troubling of what happened. He says he was first taken to the back of Emilio and Gloria Estefan’s mansion, where Gloria supposedly saw him in a drugged state and called for an ambulance. Emilio Estefan reportedly stopped her and prevented any medical help.

Inside Diddy’s house, Manzaro claims he spotted LeBron James in a hallway, who seemed to acknowledge his situation but didn’t help. At the party, he also claims he saw Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who witnessed him in a humiliating state. A member of Diddy’s entourage supposedly told Beyoncé that this was Diddy’s punishment for being a “snitch.”

The lawsuit describes Manzaro being forcibly shown off at the party, stripped, and made to wear a thong and a leather mask with a sex toy attached. He says Diddy and another woman, Adria English, made him do degrading things against his will. He also mentions seeing celebrity jeweler Jacob Arabo, who looked upset by Manzaro’s condition.

Emilio Estefan allegedly stepped in again to hide Manzaro from Arabo’s view. Gloria Estefan reportedly tried once more to get help but was silenced by Emilio. While Jay-Z, Beyoncé, LeBron James, Gloria Estefan, and Jacob Arabo are mentioned in the lawsuit as having seen parts of the alleged abuse, they are not being sued. The lawsuit targets Diddy, Emilio Estefan, Adria English, and Diddy’s alleged drug mule, Brendan Paul. Diddy’s legal team has called the lawsuit a publicity stunt for money, claiming the accusations are unbelievable and will be disproven in court.

Several accused parties have responded to the allegations. LeBron James’s spokesperson said the claims are clearly false, showing James’ recorded basketball schedule in Cleveland, Ohio, in April 2015. Brendan Paul’s attorney dismissed the allegations as impossible, noting Paul was still in high school in Ohio at that time. Jay-Z’s lawyer also denied the claims, pointing out the rapper’s public engagements in New York City on the supposed date. Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s representatives rejected the claims, stating that their property wasn’t used for parties during that time and that they have proof of this.

The contradictions in Manzaro’s story, like Jay-Z being confirmed to be in NYC on the night of the alleged party, raise serious doubts about the truth of his claims. While the lawsuit outlines a disturbing series of events, the differing testimonies and readily available evidence challenge its credibility. We’ll have to wait and see what the court says about all this, but it’s hard to believe when there’s so much evidence against it.

LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith‘s courtside confrontation at Madison Square Garden has set the sports world on fire. The heated exchange, caught on video, saw the NBA legend approach the outspoken ESPN analyst during the Lakers’ overtime win against the Knicks. While the audio remains unclear, LeBron’s body language strongly suggested that the tense moment was personal.

Smith is known for his brash opinions about professional athletes, so it was a shock to see him appearing momentarily stunned as LeBron leaned in to say something to him before abruptly walking away. Social media detectives have since dissected the viral clip, with many speculating that LeBron might have aggressively urged Smith to keep his son’s name out of the latter’s mouth.

Smith has been a vocal critic of James’ 20-year-old son, Bronny James. The ESPN personality has been questioning whether Bronny, who has struggled in his first 13 NBA games, truly earned his spot on the Lakers’ roster or if nepotism played a role for him to get in. Smith has repeatedly pointed out the younger James’ underwhelming stats, arguing that while his defensive skills show promise, his surname carries more weight than his performance on the basketball court.

As a father, the NBA superstar purportedly did not let this slide when he encountered Smith. However, James has been tightlipped ever since their confrontation. Smith, on the other hand, addressed the viral moment on ESPN’s The First Take. He clarified that their encounter was mostly driven by James’ fatherly instincts. Hence, he did not see it as a professional basketball player striking an argument with a journalist.

“That wasn’t a basketball player confronting me. That was a parent… [LeBron] clearly took exception to some of the things I said… He elected to confront me while I was sitting courtside… He feels like I was slighting his son,” Smith said. The analyst went on to say he had no intention of discussing the moment publicly but felt forced to after the footage exploded online.

He continued, “Can’t repeat the words because they ain’t suited for FCC airwaves, that’s what he was doing. And I thought long and hard about this over the last few hours cause I had no intention on talking about this at all. And the reason was because it was a one-on-one, I wouldn’t say it was a conversation but it was a one-on-one confrontation.”

LeBron has been very protective of his family, so it does not come as a surprise that he is taking issue with what he perceived as an unfair attack on Bronny. And while Smith insisted he harbors no ill will toward the father and son, he maintained that the issue could have been handled differently. He said that the Lakers star’s camp has his number and could have reached out to him privately. “[But] that is not what he elected to do. Instead, he elected to confront me while I was sitting courtside,” Smith explained.

Smith, who is in the process of negotiating a five-year, $100 million deal with ESPN per Fox Sports, maintained that, if anything, his analysis has never been a personal attack against James’ son. He was only pointing out the father’s influence on his son’s career. Outside of it, he said he only wants what’s best for Bronny and see him flourish into an NBA star.

The NBA star couldn’t contain himself after he heard the actor and comedian referenced Diddy’s “freak offs” during an appearance on The Lamorning After Podcast earlier this week. Wayans casually joked about these alleged drug-fueled orgies that allegedly took place at the music mogul’s parties when he recalled his experience at three years old attending one of Eddie Murphy’s yacht parties in the ’80s. He even made a sly nod at the baby oil controversy surrounding the music producer.

“Eddie Murphy used to have yacht parties, not freak-offs. Yeah, it was before freak-offs, it was before baby oil,” the comedian can be heard saying in the clip shared by The Art of Dialogue on X, much to the amusement of hosts Lamorne Morris and Kyle Shevrin.

Wayans then recalled a funny encounter he had with actor Emmanuel Lewis, whom he initially thought was a child dressed in a suit because of the actor’s height. He stands just 4 feet and 3 inches tall. The comedian vividly ed how, as he puts it, “harassed” Lewis back then, as he followed him around trying to mimic his walk and trying on his shoes. All the while, he was wondering why the Webster star was talking big words and speaking to the other guests like a grown up.

Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA star LeBron James, suffered a frightening medical emergency on Monday while at the University of Southern California practicing basketball.

LeBron is set to enter his 21st season in the NBA and his sixth as part of the Los Angeles Lakers. Bronny, meanwhile, is an incoming freshman for USC’s basketball team, but he’s eligible to play in the NBA starting next year. However, the young man’s recent health scare is likely taking precedence over future plans.

According to CNN, a family spokesperson has revealed that Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during basketball practice and was rushed to the hospital. The statement said:

“Yesterday while practicing, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. … LeBron and Savannah [Bronny’s mother] wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

Why would a young athlete experience a cardiac arrest?

According to a 2011 study, cardiovascular-related sudden death was the leading cause of death in 45 cases among NCAA student-athletes between 2004 and 2008. This averages out to about nine such deaths per year.

An NCAA task force in 2016 released guidance recommending that universities create an emergency action plan for sudden cardiac arrest. Last July, USC’s medical staff encountered a similar incident to Bronny’s, wherein freshman forward Vince Iwuchukwu experienced a cardiac arrest during a summer workout. The young man ultimately recovered and resumed play this past January.

According to KNX News, physicians note that cardiac arrests in young people could be due to underlying congenital issues, not enough potassium in their diets, or players simply exerting themselves too much in summer weather that’s only getting hotter.

Twitter has finally pulled all the legacy verified checkmarks from s that haven’t subscribed to Twitter Blue, leaving those who agreed to shell out $8/month as the only ones with blue or gold checks. After it was revealed that Stephen King and LeBron James still have their shiny blue badges (despite confirming that they didn’t pay for them), the celebrities/harshest Twitter Blue critics’ secret sponsor finally revealed themselves.

After both celebrities declared their shock that the blue checkmark was still attached to their , Elon Musk came out and confirmed that he’s paying for some celebrities’ Twitter Blue subscriptions, hence why they still have that checkmark next to their name. The Twitter CEO told the horror author “You’re welcome,” despite King not giving any hints of gratitude or desire to retain his blue checkmark.

This type of special treatment has caused a divide among Musk’s followers. Some criticized the CEO for backing out from his stance of “equal treatment” between celebrities and the average Joe. One also pointed out that if some people are getting a free ride from Musk, it means that some of the paid subscribers’ money went towards celebrities and those who Musk believes should keep their badges.

In case you’re wondering if this is a long list, it’s not. Musk has confirmed that he’s only paying for three people only — William Shatner, LeBron James, and Stephen King. Aka, Musk’s harshest critics.

It’s no secret that Musk is using his power as Twitter CEO to ensure that he gets the most advantages when it comes to his Twitter usage, but nobody expected that Musk would share that power with some of his harshest critics. Ever since the paid verification system was introduced, King has been very vocal about the system change. The author expressed his horror when he learned that verified badges would cost around $20 a month, which led to the price dropping to the $8 we see today.

Multiple celebrities, such as Jack Black and Halle Berry, have expressed their disinterest in paying for their badge. At the same time, to entice s to pay for the Twitter Blue subscription, it was revealed that people with checkmarks will be the only ones who can participate in Twitter polls.

At the end of the day, it’s interesting to see that he’s willing to spend money on critics just so they might approve of his leadership.

Because he has the boring sense of humor of a particularly obnoxious teenage boy, Elon Musk has chosen the unofficial stoner holiday (today) to make the switch over to only paid Twitter s and organizations having the once-famed blue checkmark visible on their s. Plenty have pointed out the many, many, many flaws in this strategy, especially with regards to the spread of misinformation it will engender, but like everything (no matter how stupid it is), what the big South African baby wants, the big South African baby gets – as has always been the case, thanks to daddy’s money.

But, for once, Elon might not be the most embarrassing thing online (for a while, anyway). This is because two of his biggest Plan-Blue-Checkmark critics still have the symbol that once meant more than having $8/month to waste up on their s: Stephen King and LeBron James.

Plenty of other s have lost their status today, although it’s been a bit of a slow burner. Many have pointed out that entire update might not be completed for a while yet, especially given how Musk has ruined Twitter’s backend because he’s convinced he’s a coding genius and not just a rich kid who people have been saying yes to his entire life, so James and King might get some reprieve from the Twitter mob yet (who have taken aim at Taylor Swift, too). Also, it’s worth pointing out that the main tweet calling out Musk consistently posts fake news, including election denial – so bear that in mind before being too mad at King and James.

Some s have decided that the most likely explanation for the remaining blue checkmarks is that Musk is trying to be funny in his usual sad way. The theory is that he’s attempting to troll his famous critics by specifically making sure their checkmark remains up. Normally, this could be easily filed away as nonsense, but Musk has shown he is incredibly petty and hypocritical at the best of times, so we wouldn’t put this past the absolute creep that now runs one of the biggest social networks in the world. Add in the fact that King was adamant he hasn’t paid, and you’ve got yourself a conspiracy theory!

One even did a bit of primary research, using filters on Twitter’s search function to try and prove Musk, or someone at Twitter, has messed with the system to try and shame his critics.

As of now, both King and James still have the checkmarks up. If the marks of shame remain in the coming days, we’ll know that the pair are, at best, hypocrites. However, if the blue ticks soon disappear, then theories will continue to abound about Musk’s involvement in them staying up for this long.

With LeBron James just 36 points away from breaking the all-time NBA scoring record set by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, sports history will be made this week. Commensurately, ticket prices are going through the roof, with courtside seats going for as much as $100,000 on Ticketmaster.

To put the outrageous ticket prices into perspective, if you want to watch this Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs in person, which is being played in Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, you’ll have to pay upwards of $9,000. Pricey, but roughly a tenth of the highest-cited cost to watch LeBron play hoops this week. Of course, not all seat prices at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles are so high — in fact, many are as “cheap” as the most expensive Super Bowl ticket — and $100,000 is for either tonight’s game or Thursday night’s which, depending on how well LeBron plays tonight, could be the record-breaking contest.

Imagine if you bought the $100,000 seat for Thursday’s game, only for James to break the record tonight. Of course, most of us can’t imagine even just the first part of this hypothetical scenario.

One Twitter below actually calculated what all the combined fees would be for two of those $100,000 tickets. Despite taking a percentage of the resale, Ticketmaster will also charge the buyer an extra $23,000 in fees per ticket; as if spending $200,000 isn’t enough, the buyer will have to pay another $46,000 on top of it.

Once-in-a-lifetime event aside, how are the $100,000 ticket prices justified? Ticketmaster increases ticket prices based on demand, something they call “dynamic pricing.” This has gotten them into legal trouble, and continues to draw controversy. To make matters worse, they charge numerous fees, such as a processing fee, while also taking a large percentage from resale transactions. That’s right; Ticketmaster not only allows resales but actually encourages them, a profit-boosting tactic through which Ticketmaster also charges the buyer an extra 20%.

Let’s not forget the Taylor Swift ticket debacle. Not only did the Ticketmaster site crash at launch of the sale of her tour tickets, but prices were rapidly increased to the point that the Department of Justice reportedly began an investigation of the sales and distribution company for abuse of power in the industry. Surely, ticket price hikes and resale amounts that Ticketmaster approves should be capped at a certain, albeit exorbitant, dollar amount. Yet — no cap — there is no such cap. Which leaves Ticketmaster to freely charge whatever they so choose, and make a fortune doing it.

Tragedy struck the World Cup in Qatar when sports journalist and soccer analyst Grant Wahl collapsed during the match between Argentina and the Netherlands.

As World Soccer Magazine columnist Keir Radnedge told CNN, “This was towards the end of extra time in the match. Suddenly, colleagues up to my left started shouting for medical assistance. Obviously, someone had collapsed. Because the chairs are freestanding, people were able to move the chairs, so it’s possible to create a little bit of space around him.” He received medical treatment until they were able to rush him to Hamad General Hospital where he ed away.

Many people have given tribute to the beloved sports writer and analyst, including L.A. Lakers star LeBron James. It was Wahl who gave him the nickname, “The Chosen One,” in a Sports Illustrated cover story in 2002.

On his podcast, Futbol with Grant Wahl, he said he felt ill all week. “It had gotten pretty bad in of like the tightness in my chest, tightness, pressure. Feeling pretty hairy, bad…This isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve done eight of these on the men’s side. And so like, I’ve gotten sick to some extent at every tournament, and it’s just about trying to find a way to, like, get your work done.”

As James mentioned in his interview, he had met Wahl when James was still in high school. The journalist was there to do a piece on the basketball player. He always had respect and iration for the man even though their career paths led James to ascend to basketball stardom, and Wahl took the route to cover soccer while at Sports Illustrated and subsequently at Fox Sports and CBS Sports.

However, James isn’t the only one to pay tribute as more and more voices pour in with their condolences. U.S. Soccer released a statement on their official Twitter.

Wahl ed Sports Illustrated in November 1996 straight out of college, and he was there until April 2020. In that timeframe, Wahl published two books on the sport he loved most, The Beckham Experiment (2009) and Masters of Modern Soccer (2018). Sports Illustrated released a statement.

He leaves behind his wife, Celine Grounder, who is a doctor and medical journalist. She works in the fields of medicine, infectious disease, and epidemiology as well as being a senior fellow and editor-at-large for Public Health and CBS News among many other sources. Of course, she was in shock when she heard of her husband’s ing.

Wahl started writing for Fox Sports in October 2012, establishing a pattern of wide range of coverage and overlapping positions with some of the most prominent sports resources. They released a tribute to the late journalist.

The U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, Timmy T. Davis, also gave a tribute. While fans are calling for an investigation because the death came so suddenly, most are focused on giving tribute and honoring his life.

It’s a sad day when anyone as loved and respected as Wahl es away. He’ll remain in the hearts and souls of the people he touched, and their memories of him will live on.

NBA star Kyrie Irving got from one of his own on Thursday when Lebron James spoke out in of the Brooklyn Nets point guard after he was suspended for promoting an antisemitic movie on his Twitter page.

The two played together for three seasons on the Cleveland Cavaliers and won the NBA championship together in 2016. LeBron said he thought Irving’s punishment was too harsh.

“I told you guys that I don’t believe in sharing hurtful information. And I’ll continue to be that way, but Kyrie apologized and he should be able to play. That’s what I think. It’s that simple. Help him learn — but he should be playing. What he’s asked to do to get back on.”

He followed that up by saying he feels Irving is being portrayed in the wrong light. “The floor I think is excessive IMO. He’s not the person that’s being portrayed of him.”

That’s the thing that’s boggling so many minds; the fact that he was given every chance to apologize and didn’t, said someone else.

“This is what blows my mind about the entire situation. All he had to do was say ‘my bad guys, I didn’t realize that was in there and I made a mistake. I apologize’ and it would have all been done. Instead he acted like a child and got himself in more trouble.”

Another on Reddit said, “He truly believes jews are fake jews and will not apologize for it, that’s the problem with him.” Another commenter said literally all Irving has to do is say the right thing. He doesn’t even have to believe it.

“That’s literally all we are really trying to achieve, no one thinks Kyrie is actually going to change what he believes. But he has to say the right thing publicly, he has to to toe the line, he has to ‘behave’. It’s all about public perception. You’d have to be delusional to not see that.”

The movie Irving shared is called Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America! and one commenter thinks Irving truly believes what’s stated in the movie.

“Kyrie does believe in the stuff in that movie, he just doesn’t think that what’s in the movie is anti-semitic. And that’s his problem. The media asked this man a simple question, ‘Are you Anti-semitic, yes or no">

Who knew that Ben Stiller could be a good parenting counselor? Stiller sat down with two other celebrity dads, Lebron James and John Travolta, as they sort out their issues with their children. At the same time, they work on unleashing their ‘inner Kratos’ to solve their problems. Because if there is a good parenting role model out there, it’s the God of War himself.

PlayStation released a video for its  God of War Ragnarök game, where stiller played the mediator for both James and Travolta. Using metaphors based on Kratos, both parents were able to speak about how they truly feel about their children and how it’s like “being shot with an arrow.” In the end, all the other dads are encouraged to think like Kratos when it comes to their parenting methods with their children.

It was somewhat of a missed opportunity to see Travolta in his Kratos getup, especially since he has the same physical features as Kratos himself. Unlike the parents who are somewhat enjoying the session, the kids felt fed up, probably due to embarrassment as they see their fathers embrace this fictional character.

Kratos in the God of War franchise is different from the God of the same name in Greek and Norse Mythology. While he’s seen as some sort of background character in real life, Kratos serves as a warrior in these games, fighting titans and monsters. In the God of War Ragnarök, Krato’s son, Atreus, will be controlled by AI, as he assists his father in the game.

God of War Ragnarök is the ninth game in the God of War series and is part of the second era of the franchise where it follows the Norse Mythology roots. The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and 5 on Nov. 9, 2022.

Aside from his golden status as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, it turns out that LeBron James occasionally places his signature sneakers to the side and enjoys time as a ionate moviegoer. And while the entire world has been absolutely bulldozing Halloween Ends, the four-time MVP champion has nothing but praise for the latest horror flick — which star Jamie Lee Curtis is certainly ecstatic to hear.

Over on her official Instagram , Curtis shared a screenshot of a recent tweet from LeBron, where he applauded Curtis’ performance as memorable final girl Laurie Strode and declared her as a total “badass.” In response, the Halloween veteran shared adoration for “King James” and insisted that the “Queen,” which refers to Curtis’ status as a scream queen, appreciates his kind words. As many fans are aware, Curtis has portrayed Laurie Strode several times throughout her career, in a variety of separate timelines — including films that specifically retcon others in the franchise. However, Curtis insisted months ago that Halloween Ends would mark her final curtain call as the notable protagonist — so it’s certainly no surprise that she gave the performance of a lifetime.
